Serhiy Yaremenko

Product management and data analytics mentor
Hi! My name is Serhiy Yaremenko, and I help businesses structure ideas and data.

I have expertise in product analytics, building analytical infrastructure, product management, and everything related to data-driven decision-making.

You can book a consultation with me (the first one is free and lasts 30 minutes; further sessions are paid), or take courses (since the start of the war, both courses are free for everyone; the courses are recorded in Russian).

At the moment, I offer two programs: basic product analytics and SQL.

You can also message me on Telegram or Email to find out whether I can help solve your specific problem.

My courses
Product managers want to make business-critical decisions based on analysts’ data. Analysts want their research to actually change the product. Product managers often lack the pragmatism to evaluate their ideas; analysts lack the freedom to go beyond narrow frameworks. Yet both want their product to grow.

In the Product Analytics course, I explain how to formulate and evaluate ideas, how to run experiments, and how to interpret the results.

The course is less about tools and more about product thinking and a rational approach.

You will get a decision-making framework and learn to think in a way that turns big ideas into something feasible and measurable.

The SQL and Visualization course helps analysts and product managers rely less on other specialists and work thoughtfully with their analytics databases.

I teach how to write queries of any complexity in Google BigQuery (about 95% of the approach applies to Amazon Redshift and PostgreSQL; all fundamentals apply to MySQL).

After the course, you will be able to visualize query results in Google Data Studio. You will start understanding other people’s queries, visualizations, and metric calculations in dashboards.

You will learn how to quickly extract everything needed for product research and analyze user behavior from any angle.

Reviews on my programs
  • A very cool course. I genuinely enjoyed taking it. It was insightful and useful—about 70% of the information was completely new to me, which was truly awesome.

My expectations were met. I gained a clear understanding of different types of analytics and what product analytics actually involves.

The way the material is presented is very easy to understand. It’s great that there is permanent access to the content—it’s genuinely valuable and something I’ll return to more than once.

All the homework assignments are well thought out; as you complete them, they fill in gaps that may have been missed during the lectures.

The format of one-on-one calls was especially pleasing—convenient and extremely productive.
    Oleksandr Zhilyuk
    Chief Marketing Officer @ Unicorn.Pro
  • Serhii’s ability to explain complex things in a very clear way, without a stiff or overly serious tone, deserves deep respect. The delivery is light and natural, sometimes with humor.

Serhii created a very convenient and flexible learning format—you can study whenever it suits you and quickly switch between materials if you forgot something in Notion.

The same applies to consultations: it’s easy and fast to book a session at a time that works for both you and the instructor, without having to wait for a Saturday webinar.
    Andriy Kovalevsky
    Chief marketing Officer @ Gx0.agency
  • In the spring, I took the Product Analytics. Basic course taught by Serhii Yaremenko, and it felt like a quantum leap into an unknown but extremely fascinating world of numbers and metrics.

Serhii is an excellent mentor. His course strikes an ideal balance between the amount of theoretical information needed to enter product analytics and a strong focus on hands-on practice—tasks you genuinely want to work on.

I would recommend this course to anyone interested in learning how to make well-grounded decisions based on real data. Reducing uncertainty is a highly relevant idea—not only for product managers.
    Yvette Mosiichuk
    UX Architect at Trinetix
  • The course exceeded my expectations.

At first it was difficult, since I had only a superficial exposure to product analytics. But from session to session, everything started to fall into place. I was especially impressed by how thoughtfully and thoroughly the course is designed, down to the smallest details. Now I communicate with colleagues from the product team in the same language.

P.S. Special thanks to Serhii for the engaging webinars and unconventional tasks that make even the laziest brains work.
“I think if you do something and it turns out pretty good, then you should go do something else wonderful, not dwell on it for too long.”
    Zhanna Svyrydenko
    Project Lead @ Parimatch Tech
  • I liked the course. Everything was clear and well structured. I managed to organize my knowledge, which was my main goal. In addition, I learned a lot of new things and gained hands-on experience with BigQuery and Data Studio. Thank you very much!
